Abortion not covered by Obama's health care plan
Remember opponents of health care for everyone were saying it would pay for abortions, as a way of trying to get people to be against it.
Well it doesnt. And even pro choice people are made about it. Here is the story.
Nice move. I'm glad innocents won't be slaughtered at taxpayer's dime. (I wish it wasn't at all) But, before you go bragging, consider that they reversed the order after some pro-lifers got wind & blew the whistle. Pennsylvania is (will be) using federal taxpayer money to fund abortions. The abortions will have to fall under the high-risk pool.
The state got the $160,000,000 from the department of health and human services.

He'll probably try to milk a few days out of it by ignoring that part about the high risk abortions. He will just keep coming back and saying how it doesn't pay for abortions again and again, even though he has been shown wrong, just like he did with the racism crap over the last several days. Some of you are really good at putting spin in things. The plain simple fact is, it does not pay for abortions except in cases of rape and incest - which any insurance would pay for now. Those reasons account for less than one percent of all abortions., So it will not pay for 99 percent plus of them
The article plainly shows that conservatives were wrong in their claims that it would pay for abortions. Less than one percent might qualify .. which they would do now with insurance.

BUT, in this case you're dead wrong. they only reversed AFTER some pro-lifers got wind of it & blew the whistle. i still have one undying question: why did there have to be an executive order in the 1st place? (a band-aid) why couldn't they put it in the original language? I really don't want to hear about what insurance companies do or have done in the past. This argument is about our tax dollars.
And the answer is YES, our tax money is going to pay for abortions.
