Judge blocks Arizona immigration law

A judge has blocked most of the Arizona immigration law, giving a win to opponents of the law.
This is typical liberal modus apperandi, find a judge to make a ruling that lets you have what you want, circumventing the normal legal process and the will of the people.
Another blow to states rights.
See, i can trash liberal ways of doing stuff too :)

When I get stopped by the cops, it "restricts my liberty" when they go back to their car to see if my license is valid. I WILL JUST RUN NEXT TIME AND HOPE THIS IDIOT JUDGE GETS THE CASE!

I was kind of thinking the revolution was going to happen in Mexico, Central and South America! When those people who have to return to their countries after living in the U.S. see the difference and don't want to put up with the corruption in their countries any longer!

But for now its just easier to run to the U.S.!

Btw: If they did we might just be running from the corruption in our own Country!

Well thats probably the tip of the iceberg!
The LIBERAL Democrats will still hold the Super Majority until January! Even after the election!
I don't think we have seen the end of their agenda till they are removed!
The sad thing is that all their ammunition was spent on personal goals or fulfilling promisies!
The economy today reflects the uncertainty of any future success and who will succeed and who will be punished/penalized!
Our form of Government was never designed to be the sole determining source!

You have to change to a different style of Government to accomplish their ultimate goals!

  13. It seems to me that conservatives are really pushing fear and revolution.
Really, none of the dire warnings and things they say are as bad as they claim .. immigration, health care, racism, reverse racism, national deficit ad nauseum..

there are problems in these areas, and liberals dont have that many great answers, but .. the conservative exaggeration of it all is strange.
they seem to want a revolution, to overthrow the government because their boy got beat last time ..
you just have to stop and wonder
    who is behind this
and what do they have to gain.
they really are not putting forth any sort of answers or message other than anger and destroy america.
what indeed is behind this ???

    ReplyDelete
  14. they seem to want a revolution, to overthrow the government

    Hmm!

I guess you haven't kept up with the people who most frequently visit the Whitehouse as advisors? The people who have been appointed as Czars? The behind closed doors deal making?
That backdoor policy to make Illegals - Legal is only the tip of the Ice Berg!

they seem to want a revolution, to overthrow the government

I think you are exactly right!

They have to get rid of the Constitution, Bill of Rights and a few other key things - like States Rights to bring down the Government and re-introduce their style of Socialism and redistribution of Wealth!

The part that is really scary is that most people TODAY don't know how our Government is really supposed to work.

Is it really that hard to see - even with all its flaws - how different America is than most of the other Countries in the World?

It seems the only answers that the Liberals want to provide is to be like those other Countries!

Lets see : More and higher Taxes (like the addition of a VAT tax - just like Europe)

Universal Healthcare (Just for the General Population of course and not for the selected few Unions, Congress etc.)(Again Almost Just Like Europe!)
Besides the fact that the Healthcare Bill is still being crafted and its already been determined it will be far more expensive than originally projected! (But they already knew that when passed it!)(It was a personal agenda by Obama adopted by Pelosi and Reid - when we needed a leadership that was focused on the Economy and JOBS! It took almost a whole year!)

A Greater and tighter control of Public Social Programs like Social Security and Medicare. (Through which the Government can decide what each person deserves and what they will pay! But its got to reduce expenses cause there is no money in those accounts and the money we are borrowing gets spent somewhere else!)

Then a greater portion of medicaid will have to be paid for by the already struggling even Bankrupt States and the Federal Government will decide that through its Universal Healthcare Program!

A greater presence and POWER of UNIONS.
    (Again just LIKE EUROPE!)
(You think we will still be a Free Market Economy? Have you ever watched when the Unions Strike a Country in Europe? Then I have to wonder if everyone gets to join or will they just get around to mandate that along with the dues of course!)

Then to Illegal Immigrants which of course has and will further place burdens on the struggling States and they will (already do) compete for Public funds through Social Programs for the elderly and poor!
(Even compete for things like Subsidized College Tuitions).

Which then leads us to a record deficit and National Debt.
Their answer seems to be to GAIN CONTROL OF ALL OF THE KEY ELEMENTS Economy, Business and SOCIETY! POWER GRAB TO THE MAXIMUM!

    Banking (Bailouts and restructuring)
    Healthcare (something like 1/6th the
    National economy)
    Industry (Cap and Trade)
    Labor (Unions)
    Housing (Freddie/Fannie)
    Social Programs (Social Security,
    Medicare/Medicaid,
    extended unemployment etc.)
Immigration (An additional 20 million not
    to mention the influx that
    will occur in the
    aftermath!)

I think at some point you have to ask who
    side are they on?

what indeed is behind this ???

I think there are alot of people asking that very same thing!

Why do all their answers seem to reflect the things that have been done elsewhere -like Europe - and haven't WORKED!

    AND

    What HAPPENED TO THE USA?

  15. 4:29,

Great post, but don't expect any intelligent debate from the liberals on here. All they can come up with is some namecalling and some BS spin told to them by Rachel Maddow.

Anyone who has paid attention to Obama's agenda knows that he is the most radical President in history, and he seems not to care whether he gets re-elected; Which means he will attempt to pass as many radical changes as he can get away with before his time is done.

"Fundamental change" is exactly what he is doing to this country. Too bad so many people were too stupid to realize that that was the ONE campaign promise he intended to keep.

The liberals will start yelling "racism" or "teabaggers" now, so I'll leave them to it.

You nailed it. The rhetoric is, and will keep getting more and more outlandish and extreme until GOPs take something back. Whether its November or 2012 or later.

Extreme comparisons to Europe (actually more a continent than a country), marxism, socialism, nazis, ad naus.

Backdoor deals, destroying the constitution, 10 no, 12, no 20 million illegals.

Is that the actual Government is made of departments, programs and people!(Not politicians)

Once in place - they continue often unobstructed and regardless of who gets elected or how long they are in OFFICE!

So, in the END it is the Government (those departments, programs and people) who manage or often manipulate the POLITICIANS!

Not the POLITICIANS managing the GOVERNMENT!

You throw in a few EMPIRE BUILDERS and you get a runaway Government that gets out of CONTROL!

    OR

A form of Government that wants to Control EVERYTHING!

Europe's system is great because it mitigates consumer stupidity, but it sucks because it limits consumer freedom. America's is great/sucks vice versa.

(Again SG - no name calling and I didn't get this from Rachel Maddow)

  27. @ August 1, 2010 12:44 PM

I think you just stated my case!

That the Politicians are only the frontline in the battle for control between the Private and Public sectors!

Right now the Public Sector has control with those who favor the expansion and the greater control of a bigger Federal Government!
(Actually Bush even promoted BIG GOVERNMENT
policies with his WAR ON TERROR!)

What the tea party is saying is that BIG GOVERNMENT isn't America!

The Constitution and Bill of Rights were designed to protect them from an Intrusive BIG GOVERNMENT! (They know it!)

    Then

Socialism is failing in Europe - if you haven't noticed! Because those Governments are being forced to deal with Social Programs that they can no longer afford! (Through the creation of the European Union and the Euro-Dollar the failure of Countries like Greece, Spain and Portugal can threaten even the Solid Countries like Germany! The result is that Greece can't borrow money unless it makes severe changes (austerity plans) which attempt to show they can pay back their loans!)

When the Government is forced to decide who gets what or then is forced to treat all as equals? (Which in reality never happens because the ruling parties and their supporters are never equal - even in Communism!)

    And

Where there are fewer options available to offset those Social Programs?

They are getting closer to a form of Communism!

They(their citizens) will get exactly what those Governments say they can have and nothing else! With no other alternantives!

    ReplyDelete
  28. @9:22 You realize Europe is about 50 countries, right? Some doing well, others going bankrupt.

The part of equasion that you always seem to leave out in your arguments?

Is that the Worlds population is aging and at a rapid rate!

It's not like we didn't know it wasn't coming!

We have known for a long long time!

Even China with their one child rule is aging faster than some of the other Countries!

So, we (in the developed World) built Social programs to supplement those who had fewer choices due to age, health etc. (There would be no more poor farms of the Great Depression!)

Then we created all kinds of other Social Programs - some which even reward destructive behaviors or irresponsibility (like drugs, deadbeat Dads who don't support their offspring, single parent families no fault Divorce, illegals who give birth on American soil etc.) Who are competing for those same PUBLIC Tax Dollars through Social Programs!

Now we will be forced to deal with those things because we didn't before and knew the day was coming!

When we can't borrow anymore from other countries cause they don't believe they will get repaid!

    AND

WE are Broke(n)! With fewer options!

    -------------------
You are wrong. Government business is supposed to make a profit. Non profit agencies are supposed to make a profit. The term not for profit means that making a profit for an owner or investors is not the goal of the organization, but instead, the money it brings in goes back into the business, usually to help people. So if government were making a profit instead of existing solely on tax revenue to fund entitlement programs, our taxes would actually be lower because they could pay their own way. See how that works?

"Ownership is the quantitative difference between for- and not-for-profit organizations. For-profit organizations can be privately owned and may re-distribute taxable wealth to employees and shareholders. By contrast, not-for-profit organizations do not have owners. They have controlling members or boards, but these people cannot sell their shares to others or personally benefit in any taxable way.

While they are able to earn a profit, more accurately called a surplus, such earnings must be retained by the organization for its self-preservation, expansion and future plans. Earnings may not benefit individuals or stake-holders."

    Who's the fool now?

Besides, who said Obamacare was a not for profit venture?

Its only when through things like Government Intervention (rules, regulations and subsidies)
that it can't work its Magic!

When you tie things together or make them dependant on each other you reduce its effectiveness!

You can see that over and over in things where the goals are to keep or add jobs, provide benefits or retirments etc. regardless of how well the entity operates or whether it is efficient or profitable!

  58. From Jubaks Journal 8/2/10

    So, now what?
You can make -- well, I would make -- a pretty strong case that bailing out Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac in the middle of a financial crisis and with housing prices plunging was the right thing to do. I wince when I think of sending $145 billion (and counting) of our money down this rathole, but not doing it would have hurt too much of the economy at a time when the economy was teetering. The time to install fire alarms is before the fire. Once the building is burning, the job is to put out the fire.

And then you fix the problem that caused the fire.

But Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac need more than fixing; they need to be dismantled. The capital markets during normal times are up to the job of setting mortgage prices (otherwise known as interest rates), and private companies can price mortgage guarantees with less distortion than can entities that believe they can tap into the U.S. Treasury. Certainly, linking an implicit government guarantee with private, for-profit companies, as Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac once were, has proved to be a really, really bad idea.

But making that fix or dismantling the two companies would require a delicate hand on the controls. It would require setting up a mechanism for selling off the current portfolios at Fannie and Freddie without sinking the market for mortgage-backed securities and the Fed's balance sheet. And it would require a transition period that lets private companies gradually move to provide the services to the market that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac once did. Many countries in the world get along just fine without anything like the government participation in the housing market represented by Fannie and Freddie, and they have homeownership rates comparable to the United States'.

All that would require a delicate hand capable of dealing in nuances and adept at making midcourse adjustments.

    Instead, we have Congress.

Here's where that America-hating pantywaist socialist Alan Greenspan says "end the Bush tax cuts"

  62. And here's Republican Minority Whip Eric Cantor admitting: keeping Bush tax cuts will add to deficit...but we still want them anyway

  63. It all rolls down hill. Corporations will raise prices to make up for what they are having to spend in taxes. That's the way the world works.

  64. yes, big government handouts is the answer progressives. after all, we are taxed when we earn money, taxed if we are fortunate to save money, taxed on our auto to take us to work (both when we buy it,AND when we tag it annually) on the gas that we put in the auto, taxed on our homes where we live and sleep, taxed on our food, clothes, water, communication (telephone, etc)the fuel that heats our homes, the energy that cools our homes, taxed when we purchase materials to upkeep our homes, increased taxes on the home because we now have raised the value of it, taxed when we sell it, taxed on the services we purchase, and I could GO ON AND ON. The ONLY thing we are not yet taxed on is the air we breath, but that too will soon change when cap and trade legislation is passed. And don't give me that bullshit about our taxes providing schools, and roads etc. because when they expand or improve such they need to pass a special sales tax to fund it. The f'n problem is those who work for the gov, (on any level, municipal, state, or fed) is that they rules that the citizenry have to live by (fiscal responsibility and accountability) DO NOT APPLYT TO THEM !!! Just ask mel kuhn or archer, or maybe charlie rangel, as they all have god telling them that their way IS his way
