  1. Hey - local event question
What of the city fireworks if it's raining?
When will an official announcement be made and how do we find it?

  4. Just curious wants to know! Why does Mell Kuhn get to shoot off fireworks in town in front of the public, and the the police turn the other way? Why do the police call his wife to take him home when he is in his vehicle and too drunk to drive from the red zone. Why does he get special treatment?

  5. kuhn gets special treatment because he is a shriner, and this town is run by, laws enforced by, and city coffers pilfered by free masons!!!

  6. Fireworlks are illegal in Ark City.

Unless you are a commissioner who should be setting an example. Then the police turn a blind eye.

    Disgraceful.

  8. "Why do the police call his wife to take him home when he is in his vehicle and too drunk to drive from the red zone." Is this fact or just rumor? It wouldn't be illegal for the PD to do this unless he was ACTUALLY in the car driving. I don't think there's any love lost between ACPD and Mayor Kuhn. Personally, I find it hard to believe. I know people that got DUI'd and didn't get their wife called until they were booked in.

  9. Notice the accuser is not brave enough to put his or her name on the accusation. Anonymous accusations and allegations have no credibility with anyone.

I saw Obama french kissing g.w. Bush at Applebees in Wichita last night.

  10. Actually, the mere act of getting behind the wheel and putting the key in the ingition or pushing any buttons is considered "operating" as far as DUI law is concerned. And it doesn't matter if it's public or private property.

  11. Sounds like news1 and BS are at it again.

  12. @12:38 that may be true. BUT, the reality is that who you are sometimes enters into the enforcement of this and to what degree. If anyone on here doesn't believe that then... You just need to get out more. (no implication of our Mayor here, cause idk anything about him or the rumor on here) ...just sayin'.

  13. BFD! Doesn't "your" little town have bigger problems? You all had better pull your heads out before reality blows that town and everyone in it away as if it never existed!
