Politics as usual, voting etc.

Here are a few political stories.
One is about a ruling that Arizona cannot require proof of citizenship for people to register to vote. The court did not comment on the requirement that people show identification in order to vote.
Ive got to be with the Libertarians and Conservatives on this one. There was a move like this in Kansas a few years ago, but it never got passed. I was amazed when i first voted in Kansas and was not required to show any ID. How easy would it be to claim you are someone and vote. You could vote several times in a day by stealing votes this way.
Being a citizen is pretty important when it comes to voting. I dont see anything racial about this at all.
But then here is a story about perhaps going too far the other way. Tea partiers going too far??? Say it aint so Joe.
Then there is the story about campaign financing. You've heard the Dems whining about Pub spending, but it turns out, Dems actually are spending more than Pubs.
And the lobbyists are not far behind. So even when Pubs get elected next week, the money still needs to be followed.
