Last night this blog had its 100,000 th page view. That is a little different than individual visits. I think its the number of posts that have been clicked on. We have had about 30,000 individual visits to this blog since it started back in May.
The site does not have as many visitors, but it is growing. The blog is slowly shrinking and the site is slowly growing. I think that is one way readers can make their preference known.
Anyways, I do appreciate yall reading. It is kinda cool to reach a milestone like that.

ReplyDeleteAgain, I think if you can stick it out financially, you are on to something. Everything worthwhile started with someone having a vision and being willing to stick with it. Mark my words: Those "paper" newspapers are going to be nothing more than relics. The virtual paper is the way of the future.

I agree, DQ. I come here first, and there is no reason to read both county papers because they both have the same news and same pictures. This arkcityrevived always has different news worth reading!!! Thanks, JJ, keep up the good work.
ReplyDeleteYea, this site has city stuff, Newscow has cops. They fill in other blanks here and there. There's just not much reason to buy the local papers anymore at all.

ReplyDeleteyea jj you are the greatest , you post all the best stuff , give me a break , you are not a creditable news source , if you were then you would publish legal notices for the city/county. and if the paper newspaper was to become extinct , then the newspaper website would become the leading authority on news , not you. as you know the Traveler has been here longer that the town itself has, you are not the first or the last one who thought they were better at reporting that the paper, but you will have the same fate as the others who have tried
