Tuesday morning

Good morning.
Cop notes are posted. I have also updated the site a bit. Someone sent me a really cool video, so I posted that.
Tonight is city commission. Ive been pretty busy last few days, but I will have a more detailed story tonight from the meeting.
Also I updated the Christmas shopping page. Ill continue to add a few to that every day for a few more days. There is still time to order stuff for Christmas. Online shopping is good.
There has been some interest in the Christmas shopping page, but not all that much on the previous shopping pages I had going, so I would appreciate any feedback on that. I can get connected to a lot more companies and post their ads - and ill get a small commission - but I want to know if there is interest.
What about Christmas shopping in general?
Is the economy making you spend less? Are you spending less?

I got some comments yesterday after I trashed the casinos a bit. I just thought it would be good to be a little opinionated, and it did stir up interest. I also gave an opinion on the new Kansas football coach - which is not based in fact at all but just on a hunch.
The blog is for opinion, so I may start offering even more opinions.
The site is for news. Not as much opinion there.

  1. Why don't you try to find out what keeps shaking my house today. The PD doesn't know what it is.

  3. Newkirk reader here. The house down here has been shaking as well. It almost sounds like someone is blasting something. Could it be in the air? McConnell testing something? I heard the same thing during the night, night before last. It sounded like someone trying to get into the house, but no one was there. If anyone figures it out try to post it.

  4. I am an Ark City native living in Newkirk as well. I guess I didn't notice it. About what time did you feel the shaking 1:44 pm?

  8. There have been reports for the last three nights of objects flying in the sky, the USAF has refused to disscuss the issue with local officials.
The Concussion booms you are hearing are the Objects bouncing sound waves off the earths crust, others say they have seen little white men during the late night hours looking in windows and traveling around the city.
Local scientist are working to discover why these little men are white and not green,, probably another racial issue best to overlook

I wonder if the earilier poster who stated there is only once race on earth will soon ajoin his race with the little white, green, men?

in any case there seems to be little worry there have been nore reports of abductions or other problems associated with the little white, green, men

Some have spoken to the little white men and discovered them to be quite friendly, however no confirmed communications are reported by local officials.

With recent funds being spent to better help the Police chief communicate with Media, citizens are at ease that The chief will report any thing he can to the little white men and call them is he feels they can get him a telivised interview

  12. If the "booms" are coming from Chilocco, then it is most likely the University Multispectral Lab doing some testing. Here is a link to their website.
