Hey James, Sorry to hear about the recent ordeal at the Traveler. Being an editor is a tough job, and most of the people who criticize you on it have no idea of what it takes to put a story together under deadline. It's a pretty thankless job, and often times the only sign that you did it right is silence from the readers. I'd know that much from experience.
Good luck on providing another source of news, and more importantly, discussion for the community. It definitely makes a difference, and needs to be done. Keep up the good work.
