Two good shows

KACY held its listener appreciation concert Thursday evening. The J Morrison band was good, and then Moreland & Arbuckle. Between the two I went over to Browns to hear Piper Leigh at a Caffe Acoustic.
Both were good shows.
Remember tomorrow night - Friday - is the River of Life show, starting at 6.
Here are a few pictures from the Thursday shows.

  1. Piper is amazing!! I chose that over hempfest. I see her everytime I can, and she never disappoints. Where is this show Friday?

  5. I went to Kacy's, and it was awesome. Moreland and Arbuckle were legit. Didn't even know Piper was playing.... Would have still gone to the park, the weather was perfect!

  6. Knowing the management and employees of KACY as I do, I am justified in calling it Hempfest. It was a stab at them. Surely the musicians do not partake in that type of recreation......

  7. Stab? How childish. You know nothing. Thought you would have learned your lesson by now "Chuck". You are a simpleton and coward (amoung many other infinite whorable things). There are many, many worse things to be involved in, and you know what they are.

  8. Hmmmm...trying to figure how I may have gotten the name "chuck." I don't think I am who you think, unless you're comparing my thoughts to someone named chuck. Kuralt? Manson? I know somethings. I know the operators of the station are drug users and dealers [allegedly]. I know 2/3 of the employees are users.

But we agree on some points. There are worse things. I do know what they are. And I have learned many lessons in my life.

I do not think I am a simpleton or a coward. I am a bit "whorable" in that there are things I would do for money.

Maybe my point is childish, but these are MY principles, and I stand by them. I refuse to show any support to any function put forth by a known drug dealer, who, by some technicality will probably get off and return to his old ways.

  10. Interesting. I am Megan Ice. I am not a drug dealer. My husband Marshall, is not a drug dealer. I know who you are, and you are no friend of mine. Furthermore I am not going to stand by and let someone anonymously (cowards way) trash me or my business in this forum or anywhere else. We have chosen this community to live and work in. I will continue to try to make Cowley a better place with or without your contribution. Any further slanderous remarks will result in a call to my lawyer. "Freedom of speech" is one thing, but the phrase "defamation of character is another." If you have any further issues, feel free to stop by the biz, or my home.

  11. Ok JJ, have you given out my IP address? She claims to know who I am, and since I've never met her, the only way she can know is if you've given out my IP address. She speaks of rights, and I believe I have the right to privacy.

  12. ive not given out your ip address, but your remarks were groundless. i dont blame her for getting on your case.
too bad your not man or woman enough to put your name on there like she did ...

  13. You stated that "knowing the management of KACY as I do"... now you claim not to know me. Now, that is an exceptional statement, and further goes to prove my earlier analysis. You need to get your facts straight.

So the facts are you that you are stranger who I do not know. But you feel justified in taking "stabs" ( your words not mine) at me, my family and my business- here online anonymously like a coward. And you expect people to give you credence and creditability? Brilliant!

I would never ask James to compromise and give me your IP address. I would however subpeona blogspot, if I felt it necessary. No one has to put up with such behavior from anyone.

Whoever you are, whatever you hope to gain, you will never get the better of me. I will never let myself or those that I care about be slandered or hurt.

  14. OK, you win. I apologize. I will keep my opinion to myself (like Poland 1939). Mr. J, is reprinting a published article libelous (if I remember JOUR 101, slander is spoken)? I was going to cut and paste an article from the Traveler here, to support my argument, but I want to remain within the bounds of the law and do not want to besmirch the good name of upstanding role-models. Then I will never visit this blog again.
