  1. Speaking of KACY, why isn't that criminal in jail? Is he awaiting a court date? Or did he cop to something less? I never did see the results of this.

  2. Waiting for a court date as I understand it.
    First offense.
Marshall is a good guy. I don't turn my back on friends who make mistakes. :)

  3. ????Respectfully disagree. First offense just means he had never been caught. To me, a drug dealer is lower than the scum he supplies/enables. I would never call a pos like that a "good guy". It's illegal. Everyone knows it's illegal. He knew all along he was a criminal, yet continued to do it. This is not a mistake. I have nothing personally against the man, I do not know him. But, I do know he was caught with a huge amount of an illicit narcotic w/in 1000 ft of a school [ahem...allegedly].

  4. I have to agree. Dealing drugs is the lowest form of scum. I hope he and his wife get jailtime. But they will probably just get a slap on the wrist.

  7. Rapists and child molesters are the lowest form of scum to me. I have a super big problem with how the court system handles these cases in AC.

  8. Jamie- could you give me a little more info on your opinion without naming names. I have noticed some things but am interested in what you are refering to.

  9. To call rapists and molesters scum gives scum a bad name.

  10. Hmmm...very touchy subject with me. It may bring out my bad side, here goes. Well for one, I have noticed that people charged with the same thing get different sentences. Or say someone gets a drug charge, that has previous drug charges, they walk away with community corrections and a first timer goes to jail. I personally think it depends on which lawyer and/or the judges mood. Or how bout when one talks to the lawyer, who was giving options of an alternative sentence for his client instead of prison. guess what? That is exactly what the judge sentenced him to and it wasn't prison. I found that rather suspicious. Or how bout speaking out for a victim and it really didn't do no good, because god for bid, a statement from a teeniebopper must of been more credible then my own statement. IDK, there's way more, but it would be too hard to continue without getting too personal and writing a book on here. I have my doubts I will ever again trust the court in AC to do the right thing.
If anyone ever wants to see a three ring circus, go sit in on district court a few times. You'll see what people mean.

  11. Of course, if your judge is having beers for brunch with your mayor (hypothetically speaking, of course), that could affect things as well. If this scum is allowed to walk, I may have to try that line of work. Seems profitable enough.

  12. Wow, for someone with "nothing personal" against him, you sure throw around some language. Just know this. Marshall is NOT a drug dealer. Marshall is a good, hard working man who cares about this community and tries to do everything he can to make it better. Furthermore he uses HIS business to promote many local events for free. He puts his money where his mouth is. Many of his good deeds are thankless. Perhaps the crackhead or methhead or cokehead or sticky hooker who hoped to cop a deal for themselves; passed along misinformation which made themselves, and the police look bad, when there really wasn't anything there at all. Oh and FYI
The police arrest and question. The judiciary system, is responsible for charging and prosecuting. If it were up to the police we would all be guilty of something. 'Round here it is the police vs. everyone else. That is why we have prosecutors and judges to keep everything fair.
