Ridiculousness

Here is an AP story - used with permission - on continuing developments with Miss California. Since she opposed gay marriage, photos of her posing in underwear somehow got out to the public and on the internet.
They thought about taking her Miss Calif., title away because of that, but the one in charge said no.
Here is where it gets weird.
Executive director Shanna Moakler was upset and has resigned, saying she no longer believes in the pageant now that Miss Calif gets to keep her title for posing in her underwear. Moakler is a former playboy playmate of the month. Playmates don't pose in underwear ... am i right ?


(This isnt about gay marriage, that isn't the point.)

    I am for civil unions and don't really care what you call them, marriage, whatever, doesn't matter to me.

    This Shanna Moakler girl and her husband used to have a reality TV show. They are really trash. Surprised she ever got the job to begin with. Maybe she cleaned up her act, but she used to be nuts and probably still is. Certainly no one to aspire to.

    Just because someone doesn't feel that gay couples should be afforded the rights that come with marriage does not make them a homophobe.

    And Shanna Moakler is white trash, plain and simple. I watched one episode of that reality show they had and thought , to paraphrase Dave Chappelle:"You should have never gave these (white trash skanks) money!"

    I agree, she is not a homophobe because she has a belief against gay marrige -- this is not a black or white issue - quit calling names and use some logic. I am not for gay marriage either, but I have some friends (not in AC) that are gay. I can be good friends with people and not agree on their whole lifestyle. I'm not scared of gay people - I just don't agree with gay marriage. Just because I didn't vote for Obama doesn't make me a racist. But that's how the Left likes to attack everyone.
