Live blog, note time change to 8 p.m. today

  1. I read the live blog and Byte was very polite. That's the way it should be. I think people get upset when she starts talking about how abortion = empowerment. I noticed she did not mention that. Alot of the ugliness starts on her blog when the 'anti-life' group starts talking that way and it gets people upset.

  2. Exactly! Byte was on a short leash during that blog. Probably realizes that her views are extreme and that she would be eaten alive if she started preaching how abortions empower women, and what a hero Tiller was. She saves that for the lefty sheep on her blog.

  3. Some would rather be a sheep than a goat! BAAAA!!!! LOL I believe it is a goat that will eat about anything and show little change after whatever it is they swallow. :)

  4. Where was Byte's guard dog?? I guess she didn't participate in the blog or she would have bit someone.

  5. People on both sides are just being nasty and childish now.
Byte did a fine job on the blog last night.

  6. But the hate she spews on her blog is another story.

  7. It's not hate as much as it is ridicule. And it's very, very hard to avoid ridiculing GOP's these days, what with baggers, birthers and freepers pulling this kind of stuff - http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=111547366

  8. Awww, There she is, I knew she was around somewhere. Funny those liberals, there so tolerant of EVERYONE except those that disagree with them!

  9. Question - What is the difference between a liberal and a puppy?

Answer - A puppy stops whining after it grows up.

    ReplyDelete
  10. That wasn't her.
And I'm more than tolerant, I'm accepting of those who differ. It involves being a bit more broad-minded than not even being able to SEE two sides to an argument.

    KS,NE,SD,AL,MS...great company to keep.

  11. OH, so you know the infamous watch dog personally? HMMM....

  12. I'm starting to think Byte/watch dog are the same person...you know playing good cop/bad cop? Except the good cop really isn't that nice.

  13. I've never been disrespectful to any of those who I have questioned on JJ's Live Blogs. I see no point in being disrespectful to those I oppose solely for gaining political points. I have an opinion and am capable enough to articulate that opinion without theatrics.

I think one point that was made on the blog last night was interesting considering it ties into the national debate on health care reform. Those who oppose abortion are adamantly against any government funded provisions for abortion. However, groups like FLS who receive public funding are contractually prohibited from referring or promoting abortion services in order to obtain that funding. A government program designed to deter women from a legal procedure seems like a double standard to me. I believe, this is just another maneuver legislators have used to restrict access to abortion services.

Outside of the area of abortion, I believe FLS does provide crucial services to women and families in our area and I completely respect that.

P.S. I always post as BD. I am not afraid of being known for my opinions.

  14. Yeah, Byte, it would be horrible if there were anyone without access to abortion. We should have a clinic on every corner. Maybe even a drive through. I'm sure those girls have concerts to get to and such. We wouldn't want a baby to come between them and their partying.

Q: How many liberals does it take to change a light bulb?
A: Let George Bush fix it! It’s his fault it’s dark anyway!

  15. Awww, It's gang up on Byte day! I think Byte did just fine on her own and was literally on her own.... Where were you guys at? You guys stand by these convictions but yet you didn't join in. It's all fun to gang up on people and rip them apart- Right? Byte is taking it. But how well would you?? Hell one of you already closed up shop and ran away!

    ReplyDelete
  16. @ 6:44

I don't find your hateful, sexist stereotyping and misogynist undertones towards women even remotely amusing.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Who closed up shop and ran away?

    ReplyDelete
  18. That SG dork who thought we would somehow miss him (but we all know you're still popping in) tucked the tail after BD shot down all his cut-n-pasted anti-choice talking points.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Oh, and there is that Anon person I've been missing too! Why don't you just post as BD watch dog? Or as, no I better not put that.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Ummm, I'm just guessing -- not taking sides...
some people don't live on the internet all day maybe?

  21. Hey - I love being right. Did you come up with that name on your own? Very clever - I love the double entendre!

Wow Meow, someone is being "hissy" today- Grow up!

You know what's strange? This is JJ's blog and he hasn't had too many post lately until you all started talking about BD!!! Hahaha!!

  23. Hey - I love being right. Did you come up with that name on your own? Very clever - I love the double entendre!

Actually no, I borrowed it from an image I found a few years ago. I thought it to be clever as well! If you like it, check out my blog by clicking on my name or at

  24. Ummm no thanks! I just went and looked at your blog and to no surprise you're a radical. When you can't form a thread that doesn't bash Obama, You might just be a rightwing nut! I can't imagine what you and your minions are going to talk about. Because eventually the Obama bashing in every post will get old. Here's how it will go, " Obama is taking the guns away".. Your followers " Obama sucks" blah blah blah. In time it will get silly and your redundant Obama bashing will turn people off!

    ReplyDelete
  25. But the abortion empowerment and Rachel Maddow updates are REALLY impressive aren't they? I guess it's all about what you want to read. I just looked at it and didn't think it was radical at all - where was the Obama bashing again?

Anything on guns, nope. Anything on abortion, nope. Just looked like the other side's opinion to me, but to you I'm sure that's radical. And you said you were open minded...

    ReplyDelete
  26. I kinda think Rev. Wright and Bill Ayers was radical, but maybe you have to be a Republican to be radical? Hmmm...

  27. @ 2:13

Did you get scared over there? It didn't look that scary to me. No more right than BD is left?

  29. I'm not trying to be radical or offensive, just trying to show another side. The Vast Right Wing Conspiracy emblem is a joke from the Clinton years.

  31. Sorry to dissapoint you lefties, but I haven't gone anywhere. Except for staying away from BD's blog. I'm sorry, but the idea of byte and her "lefty lackies" being empowered by the killing of babies weeks before they are due to be born, and who would be viable outside the womb by their hero Dr Tiller, is too much for my morality to bear. So no, I haven't left any of the other blogs, just the disgusting one.

I have found a great new place at I Love Being Right's blog though. It's nice to find some people who's heads aren't in the sand. Or up their butts.

I'm sure you're having a ball without me there to argue with though. I bet it's all back slapping and butt pinching about how great Obama is, and how we need drive up abortion clinics on every corner. Or bet it gets really boring.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Byte Daily said: "I don't find your hateful, sexist stereotyping and misogynist undertones towards women even remotely amusing."

Oh gosh, I'm sorry Byte. I didn't know that someone who took empowerment from the murder of viable babies in the last trimester was capable of being offended.

Apparently you are not as well read on the subject as you like to think you are, because what I was referrencing was the fact that concerts and school dances were reasons given by girls who's babies Tiller aborted, for not wanting to carry the baby to term. Sorry if the truth hurts.

  33. "That SG dork who thought we would somehow miss him (but we all know you're still popping in) tucked the tail after BD shot down all his cut-n-pasted anti-choice talking points."

Nope. Not still popping in. Don't flatter yourself. I haven't been back. And I don't miss it at all. You can probably tell because there's no discussion except how great it is to be a delusional liberal. I'm guessing of course, because I don't visit anymore. Hopefully MFTM has left as well.. then they will have no one to argue their immoral philosophies with but each other.

  34. @ SG, @4:14

It's so sad that you've both resorted to mischaracterizing my position on abortion but it's to be expected as facts seem to allude you both. But since I am in the game of debunking misinformation (Just ask SG) I am challenging either of you to provide some proof to back up your claims.

If you can find one direct quote which proves that I support unregulated late term abortion for any reason then I will donate $100 to FLS every month for one year.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Sorry, that would require going back to your blog. Although it's in there. Probably in the empowerment portion.

    ReplyDelete
  36. In the spirit of sportsmanship - or womanship, they should also agree to make the same donation if they cannot find it.
    would that not be fair?

    ReplyDelete
  37. I love Byte's site, and am very much against "the killing of babies weeks before they are due to be born, and who would be viable outside the womb."
I've not seen your posts on that site regarding any other issues, of which there are many. Hmmmmm.

  38. @2:31

If I remember POLS 101 correctly, radicals are left-wing, reactionaries are right-wing. So, you are 100% CORRECT!!!
    *chuckle*

  39. @ 5:53

If you do not have the decency to support the claims you are making then I suggest you stop making those claims.

    @ James

I think that would be fair.

  41. The above crimes were dismissed on JURISDICTIONAL grounds by democrats loyal to Tiller. The charges brought by Morrison were vastly different, watered down, charges. Charges designed by Morrison to be beaten by the defense. Where is Attorney General Morrison now?? oh yeah....

The above crimes were never answered for.

Well, I guess they kinda were. Just not lawfully.
