Good morning, Wednesday

Morning all.
The new cop report is posted.
The cops are running the DARE camp this week. I may try to get out there and get some pictures.
I have still not figured out why it sometimes takes two clicks to get back to the home page after posting. I looked at some other blogpost sits, and some have that issue while others do not. I could not find a reason.
The weather should be "cooling off" some now. We should be down in to the 90s today and for the next several days.
City commission worksession is tomorrow night. Ill have more city stories up later on today.
The budget is not much different than last year, and not much very controversial.
The commission does still have a rift going, and I may have something on that real soon. Maybe they should all go out to camp horizon - where the DARE camp is - and have a group hug - sing a few verses of kumbayah ...

  1. It is interesting to watch Kuhn try to contain himself since he no longer has the power to push things through with his voting block. It looks like a lot of internal struggle going on in there.

  2. Your two click problem is related to the ads you post, especially if they rotate (go from one ad to another). Arkcity.net has the same problem. A service called servedbyadbutler.com is the culprit. It affects Internet Explorer more than Firefox. In IE8, you can click on the previous history, and see the "current page" follwed by a couple of "servedbyadbutler.com" pages, then the page you were on previously. If you click on your back button, it basically goes back to the page you are on currently. It is a pain in the butt.
