Monday morning

Good Monday Morning everyone.
The police log for the weekend has been posted on the web site.
www.arkcityrevived.com
The site is still "evolving" just as the blog is.
At present I am planning on putting data - such as cop notes - and other longer stories on the site. The blog focuses more on shorter stories and commentary.
How does that sound to readers?
I do want your opinions on things. It is interesting to hear the different opinions. Sometimes people say just the opposite of what the last person said.

  1. Site's looking good JJ. Maybe you could add things like health tips, both physical and mental maybe or maybe a recipe of the day or week. Just a suggestion.

  2. Good suggestions above. Maybe obituaries, but then they aren't all that hard to find elsewhere.

  3. Wow, pretty quiet round here today.
How bout links to freebie internet sites and maybe like a bargain of the day. Or even adding a corner of promoting a local business for a week. Maybe like interviewing a business owner about the various things they sell. Obituaries are good, thats a normal for newspapers whether print or internet. If something is missing that you normally find in a paper then a person might have to go to another site.

  4. I would like more news stories, I haven't seen too many.

  5. Good Ideas! I think it would be intersting to identify goods or services that are purchased outside the area. If you can identify those things and enough support or demand you got an opportunity for someone to start a business. (Business or sales opportunities)
I think JJ posted once about a printer cartridge for an older picture quality printer and Brown's had some suggestions - I don't know if they helped him?
But, even the existing businesses have access to products they don't carry in stock.
Can they be competitive - I don't know - but it might be worth a try to connect demand with the available options.
The other thing that would be interesting is an online "items or services for sale list" ongoing for the area!
(Mini Craigs list only not specific to group just a running list by date!)
You might be surprised at the things people are doing as side ventures or from their homes or in their shops or garages in this area!
