Relay for Life

The annual relay for life is tomorrow night. This year it will be held in Winfield, at Sonner stadium, where Southwestern and Winfield High School play football.
The relay for life is a fund raiser for cancer research, and the event often raises several thousand dollars.
Thursday night they were filling luminary bags. These bags honor those that have died from cancer.
There will be a walk by those who have survived the disease.
People will walk around the track throughout the night to raise money.
There will also be other entertainment for people who might want to go. There will be music through most of the night, as well as games for adults and children.
There are many teams competing for top honors, and they will have mini-fundraisers throughout the night.
The event starts at 7 p.m.
