Arrival

The motorcade carrying Tyler Juden went through downtown about 12:40. There were a lot of people out on the street holding flags and showing their respects.
Tyler's father, Bob Juden, waved to the crowd appreciatively as the vehicle he was in went past.

  1. I am so impressed with our community today.

It was an awesome sight to see so many paying their respects to a brave young man who died for his country. I thought it was a touching show of support for a grieving family and I was proud to be a part of it.

  7. Was downtown this afternoon.
I am so proud of the way the protestors were dealt with. They were completley ignored. A small group of students from The High School stood on the cornor across from them, and held flags, and signs that said "God Bless Tyler Juden." They sang God Bless America, and The Star Spangled Banner, and did not engage in any name calling or disrespect...
Eventually, the protesters left. I think they realized they weren't getting a rise from anyone.

Well, Mr. byte, seems like you & I agree on what matters most. We disagree a lot on here, but, then that's what America is all about. I pray for the Juden family to be strengthened by God and the community at large. We're all in this together.

I am thankful to be an American. (salute)
