Man arrested again

Just got this from the Police Dept. This man is having a bad week.

A to Z Recycling called to report that the stolen dryer that the police department had been looking for had just been dropped off at their place of business.
Upon officer’s arrival, A to Z identified the suspect as Claude Mangel, the same individual who was arrested Thursday morning for burglarizing Wood’s Lumber.
A to Z employees described the suspect vehicle as being a rusty red or brown full-size pickup with a California license plate, the same truck Mangel was arrested out of Thursday morning.

  1. Sorry for saying this, but that guy must have the brain of a flea!

  2. well, he better be careful. With the court system around here, he'll only get 25 or 30 more slaps on the wrist before he goes to jail.

  3. Oh yeah, most likely he will! Does anybody know what had traffic backed up on North Summit around 3 today? I was able to turn off on Popular before I got wrapped up in the mess.

  4. Probably that darn half price drink thing at Sonic! That backs the traffic up really bad!

  8. Traffic on Summit. The half price thing at Sonic, AND school letting out. The middle school and that elementary school right there.
    What a mess

  9. No, both north bound lanes were literally stopped about 2 blocks south of popular. Only one lane was open going south.

  10. This Claude guy is just not too smart. He gets arrested for attempted burglary, then bonds out just to get arrested for possesion of stolen property. He's going to be locked up in Cowley Bed and Breakfast for a while if he continues this route of stupidity. What an idiot!

  11. Maybe Claude has noticed that the County Attorney is running a special on "Plea Bargins".
Lets see Counry Mart, shooting at Winfield gas station, shooting at Rockridge apartments. A rape case and probably a few more that went under the radar. Office has more deputys than ever, but just don't try cases, unless we can get the Attorney General to do them. Comments?

  12. I think that is pretty common across the country. The court system is jammed with cases, so they plea bargain to get a conviction instead of going to trial.

  13. CC - It's poplar. There is a tree theme - spruce, birch, maple, etc.

  14. Thank you mister wizzard, we ALL knew what CC meant but you!

  15. And the next excuse will be the budget/court closings. Non-judicial employees may lose six weeks or more pay. Judges will lose nothing, for doing the same thing they do now "nothing".

  16. He obviously knew what CC meant, he corrected him!

  17. Oops, yeah poplar, didn't notice I was adding a u!

Well maybe he'll get lucky and get that lawyer thats buds with the judge.

  18. traffic was backed up because a little kid got hit by a car. Sonic didn't cause it.
