Remembering 911

Today marks eight years since the terrorist attacks of 9-11, 2001. Shortly after that there was a renewed sense of patriotism, and more of a willingness to work together.
How far we have fallen from that ideal, and how quick we forget.
On that fateful day, I was driving to work. I heard on the radio about planes flying into the world trade center, but didn't understand what i was hearing.
When I got to work, everyone was around the television, and we saw the second plane crash into the world trade center.
The days unfolded from there.
I interviewed Arkansas City resident Dustin Schuetz, who was at the Pentagon the day it was attacked. He was honored for his efforts to save people. You may read his story at the site. www.arkcityrevived.com
